FCC Launching the Online Exam

Great! You clicked the "Element" link and are ready to begin your exam.

1. Once on the Element page, you will be required to use the LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor
   
   
2. You must first download the LockDown Browser program to your computer to access the exam
   
   
3. Click the link labeled "Download LockDown Browser" above the "Launch LockDown Browser" button in the center of your screen
   1. The link it takes you to is specific to the Respondus LockDown Browser that will work for all Mariners Learning System Online Exams
      
      
4. Install the Respondus LockDown Browser and close that tab once completed
   
   
5. You may check the status of your Respondus Monitor Setup before you move onto beginning the exam
   
   
6. When you are ready to begin the exam, click the "Launch LockDown Browser" button in the center of your screen

1. 1. Allow the site to open the LockDown Browser
   2. Complete the LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor Startup Sequence
   3. After reaching Step 9 of the Startup Sequence, click the "Begin Exam" button in the center of your screen to begin the exam
